Rooting pineapple

Start with a fresh pineapple...

Cut the green off, leaving just a bit of fruit.

I have planted just as is, with fruit on the plant:

Or, you can remove the fruit and any dead leaves at the bottom:

Plant in a pot or straight into your garden in a sunny area.

Within a few years you'll have new pineapples!

Home grown pineapples are generally smaller and so much sweeter. Worth the wait!! Keep them on the plant as long as you can for the tastiest experience.
